Fishing Guides

A good fishing guide has many disparate skills in their tool bag, such as the ability to relate to anglers of all abilities, from neophyte anglers who have never touched a fly rod to expert fly anglers with decades of experience. Imparting relevant instruction and pertinent information to all levels of anglers isn't a skill set that is developed overnight. To be an exceptional guide requires: extensive technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, effective teaching/coaching skills, and extensive time on the waters that they fish. In addition to these qualities, all of our guides are licensed and insured, current with first aid/CPR, expert boat handlers with an unwavering commitment to safety, and experienced, ethical, professional outdoorsmen with a commitment to our natural resources and protecting the environment.
For Charlie and Pat, guiding is their profession. Guiding is not a sideline; it is not something that they do for a summer job or as a part time job. Repeat customers are our clientele. Charlie and Pat, combined, bring over 80 years of local knowledge and experience to their profession. The rates that we charge are commensurate with our expertise and the level of service that we provide. What we provide is a quality angling experience.
